95 Cornwallis Street Old-Town Lunenburg Lunenburg, NS B0J 2C0

WHAT'S OLD IS 'NEW' AGAIN! -- This could be the 'newest' house in Old-Town Lunenburg...but it also began life over 200 years ago. That's right, this Old-Town gem was first built between 1802 and 1813, but over the past 2 years, the delightfully compact Cape has been completely updated from top to bottom, inside and out! Basically, EVERYTHING is brand new, yet the original Cape form and character remains on the exterior, and inside, the beautiful hand-hewn timber frame is exposed providing character as well as a reminder of the home's early beginnings. Inside, the house is fresh and bright and suited to a fully modern lifestyle with great flow through the main floor where the eat-in kitchen opens to a large wrap around deck through French doors. The generous Living Room is adjacent to a small Den/Office with French door walkout to its own back deck. The Den could double as a cozy main floor bedroom with a very handy full bath/laundry also on the main floor. 2 Bedrooms and a second full bath are upstairs. One Bedroom with a view of the over the yard, the other looking out to back harbour. Fully insulated and energy efficient with all new systems...plumbing, electrical, windows & doors, ductless heat-pumps on all 3 levels, air exchanger/HRV, etc. The home enjoys a corner lot in a quiet part of Old-Town, with a small partially fenced yard and off-street parking for up to 2 vehicles. Perfect for people downsizing and looking for low maintenance, professional couples or small families, or city dwellers looking for the perfect weekend retreat in popular and amenity rich Lunenburg.
